BEYOND THE BINARY
This is an umbrella set of workshops that examine different aspects of gender, including: gender roles, identities, expressions, stereotypes and discrimination.
Using fun and interactive games and activities, this workshop teaches learners all about sexual and reproductive anatomy.
The societal and legal definitions of consent can often clash and be confusing. This workshop clearly defines the legal definition of consent, provides an opportunity for participants to gain practical skills in giving and receiving consent, and discusses the many myths and facts surrounding consent.
CUDDLE BUDDIES & MORE
This workshop topic explores intimacy as a form of expression between partners that may or may not involve sex, with an emphasis on the differences between sex and intimacy.
Youth are going to make their own decisions about sex, so why not help them make the most informed decision? This workshop covers communication skills and the decision making process, and uses role plays and stories to discuss how healthy sexual decisions can be made.
EVERYTHING BUT INTERCOURSE
This workshop discusses different forms of sexual activity outside of intercourse, including masturbation, using your hands, oral sex, and foreplay.
EXPLORING SEXUAL ATTRACTION & ORIENTATION
This workshop focuses on different types of sexual attraction and orientation, terminology, myths, and supporting people who have marginalized orientations or attractions.
FIRST TIME SEX & VIRGINITY
In this workshop we discuss the many definitions of virginity, and myths and facts surrounding first time sex.
In this workshop, we help participants recognize and create healthy relationships.
KEEPING YOUR SEXY PARTS HEALTHY
This workshop covers everything from genital infections to asking your doctor questions to general sexual health exams. Everything you need to know to keep your sexual body healthy.
KNOW YOUR RIGHTS
This workshop helps people understand their sexual rights and bodily autonomy, and develop assertiveness and strategies to stand up for their rights in everyday life.
The media has a bigger influence on our sexuality than a lot of people think. Music, TV, videos, advertisements and movies all play integral roles in shaping our worldview. This workshop will use media learning tools to discuss the relationship between society and self, focusing on sexual health knowledge and messages about a variety of sexuality related topics.
ME, MYSELF & I
This workshop explores self-love, body image, self-care, and personal values.
MORE THAN JUST SEX
Understanding your sexuality is more than just knowing who or what you like. This workshop discusses the ins and outs of sexuality, including the cultural, physical, emotional and ethical aspects.
This workshop explores topics such as attraction, love, lust, cheating, monogamy, polyamory, friends with benefits, and other non-traditional relationships.
PERIODS, TAMPONS AND CRAMPS, OH MY…
It can seem impossible to navigate the many myths and misconceptions about periods. This workshop works to debunk those myths, covering how the menstrual cycle works, catching the flow, dealing with period issues, and reducing period shame and stigma.
PILLS, PATCHES, PLUS
This workshop delves into all aspects of existing birth control methods so that people can make informed decisions about which methods are right for them.
This workshop provides participants with an opportunity to have a frank and open discussion about erotic art, expression and pornography, and their everyday influences.
This workshop focuses on how pregnancies are (and are not) created, what happens during different stages of pregnancy, and how to stay healthy while pregnant.
This workshop provides medically accurate, non-judgmental information about abortion, adoption and parenting. We also discuss ways people can communicate with their partner, family, and healthcare providers regarding their pregnancy decisions, and how individuals can support pregnant people through their decision making process.
This workshop discusses the what, how and when of all things puberty related. We also provide information on how to deal with various puberty related issues.
SAY WHAT NOW?
Every day people fight, argue, and withhold information, all because of a lack of good communication. This workshop utilizes interactive games and activities to practice good communication skills necessary in any relationship.
Practicing safer sex may get a bad reputation for "ruining the mood", being embarrassing, and decreasing pleasure, but it doesn't have to be! This workshop discusses all of the tools to help make sex safer, including: dental dams, condoms, and lube. It also emphases practical techniques to making sex both pleasurable and safer.
SEX & TECH
This workshop covers online dating, sexual messaging, harassment and staying safe online.
This workshop focuses on what sexual assault is, the many myths surrounding it, and how to support people who have experienced it. Furthermore, we explore the act of slut-shaming and discuss rape culture and victim-blaming.
SEX WITH SUBSTANCES
This workshop uses games and activities to demonstrate and discuss how alcohol and other drugs can effect and impact sexual experiences.
STREET & SEXUAL HARASSMENT
From walking down the street, to school, to the office: sexual harassment can happen anywhere. This workshop gives people the tools to recognize it and assist others who might be experiencing it.
THE 411 ON STIs
In this workshop we discuss the most common sexually transmitted infections, and include information on transmission, prevention and testing. We also use role-play to build confidence when speaking to partners and doctors about STIs.
This workshops assists participants in identifying and evaluating unhealthy and abusive relationship behavior.
WHERE TO FIND…
We use different interactive games and activities to demonstrate how to find quality, youth-friendly sexual health resources online and locally.
WHO AM I?
In this workshop we get participants thinking about their own identities and how discrimination and privilege affect their life. This workshop is designed to help people understand who they are to themselves and in relation to the world around them.
YOU & YOUR SEX TOY
This workshop will delve into the world of sex toys; everything from where to get them, how to make them, which to use, how to use them, and how to keep them clean.
